The Sr. Inbound Logistics Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inbound flow of goods from suppliers to LS&CO distribution centers within the Americas region. This role entails coordinating with logistics service providers, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are achieved, analyzing logistics data, and driving continuous improvement opportunities. The Sr. Inbound Logistics Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective logistics operations and flow. About the Job Inbound Flow Management: Coordinate the physical inbound flow of goods, including exception management, re-routing, and expediting, to meet "on time and in full" or Need InDC date delivery targets. Cost Efficiency and Compliance: Ensure timely, cost-efficient, and compliant coordination of inbound product flow from various origins to distribution centers. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with logistics service providers (3PLs - Air, Ocean, Domestic), brokers, planning, and sourcing teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective product, documentation, and data flow into the region. KPI Development and Analysis: Develop, analyze, and publish key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to Inbound Logistics Manager/team. Performance Management: Lead business analyses to drive process improvements and oversee the operational and tactical performance of logistics service providers, ensuring any performance issues are addressed promptly with corrective action plan. Project Leadership: Lead or support logistics projects, including RFP processes, analyses, requirements gathering, evaluation, and implementation. Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance "Deliver on time and in full," cost efficiency, and overall process improvement. Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders and leadership regarding inbound logistics performance and initiatives. Standard Operating Procedures: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with logistics service providers and internal teams. Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate, timely, and complete data in visibility tools (Infornexus) and systems of record (SAP), resolving any issues in collaboration with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and IT. Invoice Support: Assist with invoice queries from outsourced partners to ensure timely payment of logistics service providers.(CASS) Supports the logistics leadership team to manage carrier relationship; quarterly business review meetings, alignment with service level agreements, on boarding material for new providers. Support global COE functions for transportation management including Direct Ship Program for US Retail and Wholesale customers. Weekly/Monthly KPI Reporting (for Freight Spend, OTIF performance, Demurrage/Detention accruals, carbon emissions). Supports LS&CO applications and Initiatives (SAP, Infor-nexus, Solar, S4, CASS etc.). Acts as SME/Super user as needed. Team with regional inbound teams, other internal stakeholders, and LS&CO. logistics providers to solve "one-off" problems and/or strategic initiatives Assist Manager with on-boarding of new Transportation providers Oversee freight billing (Int'l/Domestic) which entails audit/payment and coordination with Wipro, AP, CASS. Create and distribute weekly forecast reports to support equipment/labor planning at US CSC's or US transload locations. Manage Global Allocation file related to changes/updates to Carrier rate cards which impacts CASS and timeliness of freight payment to service providers. Performance Expectations On time Performance: Timely delivery of each PO per mode between HOD to Onlot derived from planning lead times within MTM or managing to Need InDC dates Cost per unit per mode: Monthly cost per unit per mode against annual AFP assumptions Container Fill rates: Monthly average fill rate (cbm/container type) against targets About You Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of international and/or domestic logistics / operational experience - either on the shipper side (apparel, other consumer goods, or retail) or with a service provider (e.g. 3PL, forwarder, carrier, etc.) Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Experience with logistics service providers and supply chain management. Proficiency in logistics software and systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in logistics. Knowledge of Incoterms (DAP, FOB, DDP, etc.) Basic project management skills; business process improvement, process documentation as it relates to SOP's/SOW's. Experience working with Transportation management solutions including knowledge of transportation EDI related messaging (315, 214, 210, 856 etc.) Strong comfort level with numbers and shipment processes, from origin through destination Ability to work across various business functions - e.g. Finance, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Product Management, Supply Planning, etc. - and with external parties Technical Skills: Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong reporting skills using LS&CO applications (SAP, Infor-nexus, CASS etc.). Able to create reports ad-hoc to meet business objectives by leveraging applications. Basic working knowledge of Excel; (including pivot reporting, basic macro functions etc.) Communication and Collaboration: Collaborates with internal and external partners to optimize inbound flow. Drives continuous improvement efforts to enhance inbound flow and acting as a subject matter expert on inbound logistics processes. Presents analysis results and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making processes. Reports into Inbound Logistics Manager. Located in San Francisco or hybrid. The expected starting salary range for this role is $75,000 to $92,00. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
