Job Summary: The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for the full management of restoration projects, including the creation of estimates using Xactimate, project planning, oversight, and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of construction and restoration processes, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders including clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams. Major Responsibilities: Estimation and Bidding: Utilize Xactimate to create detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects. Prepare and submit bids based on assessments and projections. Project Scheduling: Develop project timelines, schedule tasks and ensure milestones are met. Resource Management: Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, manage manpower resources, and coordinate the use of equipment. Site Management: Provide direct management of project sites, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Budget Management: Maintain control over project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising on quality. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain excellent communication with all parties involved, from clients to subcontractors, ensuring transparency and effective problem resolution. Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Estimator in the restoration or construction industry. Proficient with Xactimate software for estimating purposes. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, restoration techniques, and project management principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally. Computer software proficiency including MS Office, Outlook, and project management tools. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications: IICRC certifications in Fire, Water, and Mold restoration. HAAG Certification for roofing. OSHA safety training and certification.
