Tax Associate

A financial services company located in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join their staff as their new Tax Associate. Responsibilities: The Tax Associate will: Assist in the review of tax filings and K-1s Prepare tax estimates and projections Prepare tax provisions for blocker corporations Assist with document retention, memos on reorgs, and implications on year-end reporting Qualifications Undergraduate/Master's degree in Accounting or Tax CPA or Parts passed 2+ years of public / private tax accounting experience Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, as well as PowerPoint) Team-oriented Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Desired skills Financial services or Hedge Fund experience
