JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of vehicles or goods, ensuring efficient dispatching and processing of orders. Primary goal will be to maintain smooth operations and timely deliveries. Responsible for inbound/outbound load scheduling, tracking carriers and loads for on-time delivery, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Role extends to qualifying and onboarding new carriers to ensure ample capacity, negotiating freight rates and monitoring overall market conditions. This is a critical role which is part of the larger sales and order fulfillment team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and clients to schedule deliveries and pickups. Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise. Process orders, including data entry, documentation, and maintaining records with a focus on accuracy and timely execution. Email/Print/Distribute vital shipping documentation including packing lists, trip reports, proof of deliveries, and purchase orders. Communicate effectively with internal sales teams and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations. Optimize routing and scheduling to manage freight costs and meet/exceed KPIs. Check drivers in and out of the facility, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. All other duties as assigned to fulfill the role's responsibilities. External Relationships: Customers, drivers, and shipping carriers/brokers Internal Relationships: Sales, Outsourcing, Warehouse, Accounting, and Construction teams Compensation: DOE Main Office Location: Groveland, FL. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office-like applications. Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Customer service-oriented mindset with problem-solving capabilities Energetic, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to promote teamwork and work effectively with all internal teams. HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Work is to be performed onsite at the Cherrylake main office in Groveland and is primarily conducted in the office but also requires going onto the farm, the loading area, and the driver checking window routinely. The standard work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There is an opportunity to adjust the schedule to Sunday through Thursday and/or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, subject to business needs and mutual agreement. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop computer, photocopiers, and smartphones. Occasional bending, lifting and carrying of objects not to exceed 20 lbs.
