This position will act as a liaison between employees and the Technology Department and is key to the success of MOM's business operations. This role is based in-office out of our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD) with frequent travel to stores as required. Respond to tickets in ZenDesk until they are solved to the end user's satisfaction, log all activity, communicate in a timely manner and meet SLAs. Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems (software and hardware). Participate in an on-call rotation (ex. to answer emergency employee IT questions). Assist with IT equipment for new hires and terminations. Help to maintain an accurate IT equipment inventory by entering information into our inventory tracking system. Help to maintain the digital infrastructure by identifying issues using various tools (logs, alerts, tickets, update reminders) and following through on fixing those issues. Break/Fix work - such as swapping IT equipment, cleaning, printer issues, end user training and equipment upgrades. Assist with creating documentation for internal and end-user use. Take on additional duties as assigned. Must haves: High School Diploma or equivalent 0-2 years' experience in field or career Previous retail experience Must have a vehicle and be willing to drive to all locations Comfortable researching problems Comfortable using the phone, chat, email and ticketing to resolve issues Comfortable with face to face interactions with end users Desktop/laptop troubleshooting experience Experience with hardware maintenance on workstations, desktops, laptops Experience using Google Suite & Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems Experience in a fast-paced work environment Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field Nice to haves: Associate's Degree in related field 2+ years' experience in field or career Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and general enterprise structure General understanding of network principles Experience with hardware maintenance on Point of Sale (POS) and other store related hardware Comfortable explaining technical issues to non-technical people in a way they will understand Experience administering Google Suite & Microsoft Office Experience with Windows, Linux and Mac OS The starting hourly range for this position is $20.20/hr.
