Vice President, Banker Industry/Country Coverage with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Developing and reviewing proprietary financial models for companies in the healthcare industry, including merger models, discounted cash flow models, and leveraged buyout analyses. Analyzing accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings, and financial projections as prepared in various formats by clients. Requires: Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Two (2) years of experience with Masters degree or five (5) years of experience with Bachelors degree with the following: building and reviewing financial models including operating models, merger and acquisition (M&A) analyses, discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout valuations and models; developing complex presentations and financial analyses using Microsoft Office; working on teams providing financial advice to healthcare companies on M&A transactions, capital raising, and other complex financial transactions; performing due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions; and working with financial data providers such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other software programs.
