Summary: Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, and in close collaboration with Granville Health leaders, the Nursing Administrative Specialist will promote high quality, patient -centered care, serve as the stakeholder champion for setting the service culture for the organization by deployment of nursing initiatives, and processes to support patient care throughout the hospital. This position will assist the organization, and will assess the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through development, evaluation, and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and current clinical practice guidelines. Lead clinical process improvement initiatives, provide operational oversight to projects as needed. Analyzes and evaluates patient care, work performance, and techniques through quality improvement, certification monitoring, mentoring staff, or other means as appropriate. They would Implement an effective ongoing program to assess and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to patients, and evaluates the program's progress to the attainment of successful outcomes. They would advocate and promote a culture of service excellence by bringing about long-term change in the organization while focusing on learning, leadership and staff development. They would promote teamwork and patient satisfaction, and oversee patient satisfaction and implement service-oriented programs to facilitate excellent experiences for all customers of Granville Health System.•Develops the framework & protocols in which all patient experience initiatives will be deployed across the system.•Develops service, educational, and training programs throughout the system relating to the patient experience and service excellence.•Strategically develops, refines and improves performance metrics and measurements methods using standardized and customized tools.•Presents monthly reports to the leadership group and C-suite on CAHPS information.•Educates in all areas of the hospital on new evidenced based practices and performs process improvement •Utilizes coaching, best practices, and collaboration with Risk Management, Quality, and Human Resources to obtain excellence.Audit charts for regulatory compliance Requirements: 'BSN and 5 years of experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of current evidence based practice and nursing. Needs to be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to review statistical data and report findings.
