We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream.WIN Waste is currently looking for a B Level Diesel Mechanic who, under supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles.Responsibilities:Performs preventive maintenance servicesInspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipmentPerforms inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipmentPerforms service callsConducts safety checks on vehiclesAssists Lead Mechanics as neededReviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition ReportsMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standardsCompletes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied timesExperience, Education, Certification:Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.Valid driver license.Physical Requirements:Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skillsReach with hands and armsClimb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feetOccasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbsAt WIN Waste Innovations, every employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.
