Operations Consultant

An Operations Consultant job is available with our client, a large investment bank, located in NYC. This is a hybrid, contract role.Please Note: Candidates MUST be Aegistech's W2.RESPONSIBILITIES:Settlement of International Securities (CAD Equities, CAD Bonds, CAD Treasuries, JPY Equities, JPY Bonds).Settlement of all trades, fails management, firm funding.Ability to communicate effectively with traders and trading desks.Ability to work on trade processing exceptions in a back-office environment with multiple trade flows.Ability to recognize issues and solve andor escalate items accordingly.Book journals into bookkeeping systems and reconcile balances to prevent breaks the next day.Ability to adhere to control and risk frameworks and collaborate effectively.Assist with messaging flow reviews and future state reviews for new systems.THE SKILLS:2-4 years of experience in an International Settlements, CAD Stock Loan, or CAD Sec Lend role with a broker-dealer.CDS, Arrow, Broadridge Gloss, Broadridge BPS, Broadridge Impact, EasywayEuroclear, DTC -Torestone is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced tight deadline environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
