Position: Database Administrator (SQL, Power BI, SharePoint, BizTalk)Department: Information TechnologyNY BASED APPLICANTS ONLY. MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO LEGALLY WORK IN THE USA.Overview:We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in SQL Server and related technologies. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between the Finance and IT departments, ensuring seamless database operations and management across various platforms.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.Oversee SQL Server failover management and clustering to support business continuity.Perform routine SQL Server upgrades, maintenance, and optimizations.Administer SQL Server Management Studio, implementing robust security and backup protocols.Manage SharePoint to ensure efficient collaboration across the organization.Administer BizTalk for secure and reliable business process automation.Oversee Elite 3E for legal and financial management, including customization and troubleshooting.Develop and maintain Elite 3E templates, working with Paperless Proforma for invoicing processes.Manage Chrome River for expense and invoice management workflows.Administer Microsoft IIS for web server operations.Oversee Windows Server environments for hosting databases and applications.Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline system management.Technical Skills:Expertise in SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.Hands-on experience with SQL Server failover management and clustering.Proven track record in managing SQL Server upgrades and version migrations.Proficiency in SharePoint, Power BI, and BizTalk administration.Experience with Elite 3E, including template customization and Paperless Proforma.Familiarity with Microsoft IIS and Windows Server environments.Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and system administration.Non-Technical Skills:Problem-solving: Capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues munication: Excellent verbal and written skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams, especially between Finance and IT.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.Self-motivation: Independent and proactive in managing tasks without constant oversight.Adaptability: Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business requirements.Time management: Skilled at managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.Attention to detail: Ensures data accuracy and system reliability through meticulous database management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.Strong understanding of financial and legal business processes is a plus.
