Join a leading West Coast utility known for its commitment to reliability, sustainability, and innovation in power delivery. We are seeking a Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer to support ongoing projects in Las Vegas. This role will focus on design, analysis, and project support for transmission line engineering.Responsibilities:Perform detailed design, analysis, and optimization of transmission line projects (69kV to 500kV).Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient project execution, including design, scheduling, and material procurement.Conduct field visits and site assessments to ensure design compliance and project feasibility.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.Utilize industry software (e.g., PLS-CADD, AutoCAD) to develop and review transmission line designs.Ensure adherence to all utility standards, industry codes (NESC, IEEE), and regulatory requirements.Support risk assessments and provide engineering input during construction phases.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (or related field).3-7 years of experience in transmission line engineering, preferably with utility or consultancy firms.Proficiency in PLS-CADD and other design software used in transmission line engineering.Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., NESC, IEEE, ASCE) and state regulations.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.Experience with high-voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines is a plus.EIT certification preferred; PE license is a bonus but not required.Benefits:Between $500 to $700 per day.Chance to be hired on a full time basis on contract completion in one of the leading utilities on the west coast.
