We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Lakewood office. This role offers the chance to work on civil design projects throughout Colorado's Front Range and beyond. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong technical, project management, and client communication skills. We pride ourselves on being a client-focused and employee-centered firm.Key Responsibilities:Assist with master planning and conceptual design.Help determine project fees and prepare proposals.Monitor design budgets and project schedules.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.Manage multiple engineering projects from initial design through to construction completion.Mentor and lead a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.Utilize AutoCADCivil3D to design and coordinate medium to large-scale projects within specified timelines and budgets.Attend project meetings throughout the design and construction phases.Conduct quality control checks on produced work.Provide construction administration support, including shop drawing reviews, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.Monitor project budgets and reviewapprove client invoicing.Participate in collection and accounts receivable efforts.Be available to work overtime as needed.Working ConditionsSkillsAbilities:This position is primarily technical and requires both office and fieldwork. Key abilities include:Ability to move around inside and outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites.Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods.Proficiency in repetitive tasks, such as using a keyboard or mouse.Capability to carry, ascend, and descend ladders.Ability to identify colors accurately.Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.Skilled in determining and exchanging accurate information.Occasionally lifting or holding equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to navigate atypical environments and confined spaces.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of experience in site development.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently for extended periods.Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication mitment to client service and a collaborative team approach.Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.Ability to engage effectively with diverse clients, regulators, and authorities.Proven marketing and business development skills.Possession of a PE license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one within three months.
