Plumbing Supervisor

Genius Talent is partnering with a leading construction company to find a skilled Plumbing Superintendent with 6-8 years of experience. This key role is based in Goldsboro, NC, and includes responsibilities in surrounding counties.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all phases of plumbing projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budgetSupervise the digging, installation, testing, and backfilling of underground sanitary and grease pipingDirect the rough-in of new drain waste and vent (DWV) and domestic water pipingManage the installation of roof drains and storm drainage pipingOversee the threading, installation, and testing of building gas pipingSupervise the brazing, installation, and servicing of medical gas pipingCoordinate the installation of various plumbing fixtures, including water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, and drinking fountainsOversee the installation of plumbing equipment such as water heaters, boilers, storage tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, tankless water heaters, sump pumps, and water filtration systemsGuide the team in additional tasks like brazing, threading pipe, grooving, soldering, and weldingInterpret and review construction and coordination drawings using Procore and other construction software on tabletsEnsure safety protocols are followed on ladders, lifts, and scaffoldingEnforce all safety regulations on the job siteMentor and train less experienced crew membersReport directly to the Project Manager and ensure compliance with all company policies and proceduresRequirements:6-8 years of relevant experience in plumbingCapable of performing physical tasks and lifting items up to 50 lbsPunctual with consistent attendance for scheduled workdays and timesExperience with Hilti-Trimbel Total Station Layout is highly desirablePossession of OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications is advantageousAll necessary equipment, hand tools, and power tools will be provided
