Job Description SummaryThe Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE) reports to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager and is a project management role that is responsible for managing instrumentation requirements on military and commercial engines in Development Assembly & Component Test.Essential Responsibilities:As the Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE), you will:Responsible for managing instrumentation requirementsCost and schedule on engines and any additional information requested through a Test Project Sheet (TPS)Daily interface with: Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineer, Evaluation, Test, Tooling and Project Personnel, as well as the Hourly work forceEngagement in activities that will assist in the scheduling and execution of development engines while focusing on: Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Over-all Cost InitiativesInterface with software tools such as: IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, a variety of access databasesQualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and EquipmentMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearanceDesired Characteristics:Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to influence others and lead small teamsLead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn"‹Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively"‹Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed "‹Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative"‹Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
