Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Key duties include:Overseeing day-to-day operational performanceEnsuring compliance with company policies and proceduresManaging regulatory, safety, and environmental standardsAchieving financial and operational targetsLeading operations and maintenance teams to ensure service reliabilityDeveloping operational processes for efficiency and consistencyManaging budgets, overseeing capital projects, and maintaining schedulesUsing maintenance systems to track and achieve goalsLeading employee development through training and performance managementEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirementsOverseeing contractual negotiations and partnershipsMaintaining operational and personnel records in line with regulationsFostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with management experience - MBA PreferredExperienceknowledge of Power Plant EquipmentTechnical background, ideally Process Engineer Certification10 years of experience in a relevant technical or operational fieldStrong knowledge of business management, budgeting, and human resourcesExperience with labor relationsOSHA and ISO 5001,ISO 8217 & other relevant compliance experienceCollective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) experienceknowledgeKnowledge of safety regulations and best practicesProven leadership and supervisory experienceStrong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsIf you are interested in this role of General Manager click "˜apply now' and a member if our team will be in touch!
