A financial services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Trading Assistant - Options in their New York City office.Responsibilities:Working with trading teams to process trade execution across the trade lifecycleWorking in a team environment that closely integrates trading, technology and operational excellenceWorking with the trading desk to manage risk breaks, assist with executions and middle office functionsAutomating operational workflows and partnering with developers and technology teams to architect, build, and deliver robust platforms to reduce manual overhead and riskDeveloping robust processes to aid in the deployment of new trading capabilitiesCoordinating with developers to help with releases and testing for new softwareCoordinating efforts with Trading, Technology, Compliance and Operations teams to ensuresmooth expansion and day to day operation of the businessPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Bachelors degree from a top tier university in economics, business administration, computer science, engineering, finance, mathematics, physics or a related field2 to 4 years experienceFoundational knowledge of OTC marketsExperience interfacing with trading and technology systemsProcess driven approach to problem solvingStrong communication skills and the ability to liaise across multiple groupsA highly analytic mentality and a rigorous attention to deal Reference # 502064
