Resident Engineer

Salary: $ 156,000.00 We have partnered with an Engineering Consulting Firm in the Washington, DC area to provide them with a Resident Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized must haves for the Resident Engineer: #1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college #2. 20 + years of experience serving municipal clients involving planning, consulting, design, and construction services for a wide variety of services including water and wastewater planning and design #3. Heavy experience in project management and running/leading a project. #4. Profession engineer license required Requirements for the Resident Engineer: Education and Experience: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to meet the organization's vehicle insurance policy requirements. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Over 20 years of experience working with municipal clients, providing planning, consulting, design, and construction services for diverse projects, including water and wastewater systems. Extensive project management experience, with a focus on leading and overseeing projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership abilities and sound decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledgeable in applying for and securing relevant construction permits and licenses. Exceptional technical writing abilities are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong documentation capabilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work effectively as part of a team. Decisive with strong judgment skills, efficiently resolving issues and analyzing project details. Acts independently but seeks input from team members when necessary for complex situations. Highly organized, with the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable actions, prioritize effectively, plan and track timelines, and meet deadlines.
