K5302 This postion is located at Washington Township hospital.The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional weekend coverage when staff is short HIM Analyst is responsible for quantitative and qualitative analysis of each patient record to ensure compliance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements pertaining to record completion. Performs chart pick up and assembly of paper documents according to established chart order. Responsible for merging duplicate MRNs. Routinely interacts with and assists hospital departments, medical staff, patients and internal/external requestors in retrieving, identifying and providing health information including hospital operations, patient care and reimbursement; validates the consistency and accuracy of patient information within the multiple data bases; protects confidentiality, security and privacy of Protected Health Information in all interactions. This position participates in performance improvement efforts and supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service and demonstrating the commitment to team work and cooperation. Qualifications Ability to read and communicate in the English language. High School graduate or equivalent required. Ability to utilize multiple computer applications. Prior experience in Health Information and/or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) credentials and /or EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
