Digital Project Manager In January 2022, Smith, a global performance commerce agency, acquired Adept, a Columbus, Ohio-based agency best known for maximizing brand growth through digital marketing. We are looking for an experienced brand marketer that is both strategically minded as well as execution oriented. This individual will help drive growth through the development of our brand and go to market position, as well as the implementation and management of high impact, lead generation activities. The successful candidate will need strong subject matter expertise in brand and corporate marketing and the B2B market. Who You Are The Digital Project Manager is responsible for supporting multiple projects in meeting their deliverables and objectives. What You'll Do Develop and manage project plan with the team leads to execute & effectively manage the plan Load project plan, task details and assigned resources into Mavenlink/Task Management system to manage accordingly Ensure clear understanding and proper documentation of functional requirements to meet project goals, and asset collection and distribution to allow the team to execute the tasks assigned Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in project plan Key Responsibilities Include Monitor all tasks in Mavenlink to ensure work is being completed as scheduled Should the project become off track, the Digital Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the project is being managed and back on track in collaboration with the team leads (timing and budget) Proactively raise key issues when a project runs the risk of going off track with time or budget with the Client Experience (CE) Leads overseeing the impacted account Document changes against scope that might impact the project delivery against agreed upon statement of work Proactive engagement of the team on a daily basis to support on-going deliverables by participating in the stand-up Ensure standardization and consistency across projects Manage and communicate a clear project scope, and motivate team members On-going communication of project status with client, via status report and weekly client status meeting in order to manage expectations and drive project forward Support the CE lead with accurate, timely, detail-oriented status pertaining to project management including financials, risk management/concerns and accurate reporting of project(s) health being managed in order to ensure client satisfaction Have a keen understanding of the client's business and the impact of the project against client goals in the context of the client's business Be primary point of contact for IT client supporting project, and ensure liaison between Adept team and client team Act as a secondary point of contact for business clients (owner of relationship on client side), by being engaged and communicating on all aspects of the website project Ownership and management of Content Upload (internal and with clients) Ownership of QA process Collaboration with internal team and client to ensure completion of QA as scheduled in the project plan What We Look For Bachelor's Degree 6 years work experience 5 years project management experience managing multiple projects to completion Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a cross functional team environment is a must Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Championing the organization's mission and values in an authentic manner; demonstration a poised and confident demeanor that reassures others and commands respect Highly skilled at researching highly complex issues, formulating alternatives, analyzing benefits and risks, and facilitating groups through a critical thinking process to arrive at a solution Working independently and in conjunction with other individual and departments in situations of high complexity to achieve company goals Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed An obsessive attention to detail At least 4 years experience in web project management About Adept [a Smith Company] Founded in 2008, Adept has grown to be a team of 35+ digital marketing specialists with experts in strategy, SEO, paid media, web design & development, conversion optimization, analytics, video production and content development.
