Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach all aspects of medical billing and coding in our Medical Billing/Coding day program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach insurance and coding courses. The typical teaching load is 1-2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. At least three years of experience in the billing industry. Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding. Medical Billing Software experience. Knowledge of HIPAA and current industry-related regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated and results driven Prior teaching experience preferred
