Job Summary: The Payroll Professional 3 is responsible for managing and analyzing payroll processes for the company, including configuration, reconciliation, and the distribution of payroll reports. This role requires extensive functional knowledge in payroll systems, including Ceridian DayForce, and the ability to manage payroll for large employee bases. The Payroll Professional will collaborate with HR IT to ensure proper integration of payroll systems and will play a key role in handling payroll for complex business cases like mergers, acquisitions, and integrations. Key Responsibilities: Complete company-specific payroll configurations and analyses for business cases, such as mergers, acquisitions, or integrations. Coordinate payroll processing with team members to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery. Prepare and distribute payroll reports for clients and management. Interface with HR IT to communicate and implement integration requirements for payroll systems. Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Respond to inquiries from employees and clients regarding payroll and administration. Process garnishment orders and withholding orders, facilitating payments to respective agencies. Integrate processes and results from other workflows and disciplines to propose effective solutions for significant payroll challenges. Provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers on payroll matters. Required Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in payroll processing, with expertise in Ceridian DayForce applications. Strong data analysis skills related to payroll processes. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR IT and other departments. Knowledge of garnishment and withholding order processes. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of payroll experience with year-end processing knowledge. Experience with payroll systems such as UKG, ADP, and Ceridian DayForce. Experience managing payroll for over 5,000 employees and handling ticket management systems like ServiceNow. Ability to adapt and learn in environments without standard operating procedures or manuals. Supervisory experience in payroll data analysis (though this role does not involve supervising others). Education: Relevant experience is acceptable in lieu of formal education.
