General information Job Title Driverless Support Supervisor - HOU (Nights) Date Tuesday, October 1, 2024 State Texas City Houston Base Pay Rate: $ 27.00 Full/Part Time Full Time Shift Overnight shift Requirements and Description JOB DESCRIPTION Operations Coordinator 809 W Alabama St. Houston, TX 77006 What you'll be doing: Based on existing driverless operations procedures you will further engage a diverse set of team members to develop and mature executable operational procedures and checklists to enable a safe, ongoing garage operation to perform launch and land functions of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) Lead and assist in the documentation, communication, and implementation of procedures for Driverless Support Specialist s including, but not limited to vehicle pr eparatio n, cleaning and charging, and lost and found Hire, grow, develop, manage, and lead a team of Driverless Support Specialists i n the safe, efficient execution of garage and fleet operations Work cross functionally with all autonomous vehicle operations and fleet management to enable end-to-end safe, efficient execution Ongoing operational efficiencies gained by driving continuous improvement from identification to implementation of procedural changes What you must have: Experience in operations management, operations planning, or project management at a fast-paced start-up or tech company Ability to work both remotely and on-site in one or more of our San Francisco offices and garages You are a tenacious teammate, with a bias toward action and a continuous improvement approach. You work well with others Tough problems and setbacks do not deter you; you see them as exciting challenges and growth opportunities Competency in G-Suite products (Slides, Sheets, Forms), and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint ) The ability to communicate key issues coherently and confidently to diverse stakeholder groups Bonus points! Operational experience with a large, 24/7 frontline workforce Mobility or transportation experience, particularly with a large fleet Entrepreneurial experience/ownership mentality or other innovation history Competency in Jira, Jama, Lucidchart , Smartsheets , and/or Looker Enthusiasm for the potential of autonomous driving to move life forward in our cities and improve road safety Benefits Employees in Full-Time positions (defined as working at least thirty (30) hours per week) will have the option to enroll in the benefits plans by logging into SmartBen enrollment platform.
