Scope of Responsibility: Provides customer service and administrative support to enhance the growth and development of commercial business lines. Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining great relationships with our current and past customer base, ensuring prompt payment on all completed commercial jobs, and supporting efforts to obtain new business contacts. This position will involve increasing sales opportunities in the following categories: (1) Commercial cleaning of carpet, upholstery, and tile; (2) Water Restoration; (3) hardwood cleaning. Job Duties: Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of Stanley Steemer in the community. Prospect for new business by joining and networking within various organizations (Chamber of Commerce, etc.). Responsible for on-going prospecting and warm-calling potential clients within targeted areas (i.e. market, type of business, multiple locations and the "profile" of the successful client). Design an action plan to successfully accomplish the new/current business plan. Call and follow-up with the client after every commercial job and ensure client satisfaction. Based upon potential revenue, be present at the initial cleaning. Design and submit estimates to gain new profitable accounts. Estimate information to include expected time for completion, price, water hose location, # of crews and trucks, contact person, time of job and any special needs. Record all aspects of the sales process up to and including closing the sale. Visit existing clients in between cleaning to maintain harmonious business relationships and keep current client base. Solicit referrals from current client base. Monitors Accounts Receivable on a weekly basis to collect on past due accounts and ensure on-going payment. Keep the manager aware of status of accounts. The Commercial Sales Representative is primarily responsible for growing the business in regards to carpet cleaning, flood restoration services, and flooring sales. EOE PRIOR SALES EXPERIENCE PREFERRED This position pays a base salary of $50,000 - 60,000/ year based on qualifications + commission. 3-5 years of B2B experience in service-based sales organization preferred (HVAC experience a plus)Valid driver's license Proven experience in commercial sales with a successful track record Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends Why Stanley Steemer?
