LHH is working with a major national law firm on adding a talented new Associate to their premier litigation practice via their Wilmington, DE office. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Insurance Defense space, ideally litigating Toxic Torts, Mass Torts, Asbestos, and related claims. This is an excellent opportunity for immediate hands-on work, engaging high-stakes litigation, robust mentorship, and the platform and resources offered by a firm with a coast-to-coast footprint. Responsibilities: Litigate Insurance Defense matters within the Personal Injury, Product Liability, Premises Liability, and Toxic / Mass Torts spaces Delve into appellate practice as-needed for complex, high-exposure suits Research, draft, submit, and argue motions for cases brought before Delaware State and Federal Courts, as well as other jurisdictions when appropriate Propound and respond to discovery requests, and conduct depositions of party, fact, and expert witnesses when required Actively engage in settlement negotiations, and participate in mediations and arbitrations Qualifications: Min 3yrs of exp in Insurance Defense (any Mass / Toxic Tort experience is a huge plus) Must be licensed to practice law in Delaware Any admission to adjacent states / jurisdictions is a plus (NJ, PA, MD, VA) Position Specifics: Anticipated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, experience dependent Position may include discretionary annual raise(s) and bonus(es) HYBRID office (3 days in / 2 days home) Perks!
