The details for this Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Nursing Job are: Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Location: Omaha, Nebraska Travel Allied Health Professional Salary: $2,130/week Start Date: 10/28/2024 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Total Hours Per Week: 36 weekly Shift Breakdown: 3x12 hrs General floor therapy such as nebulizer therapy, EzPAP, IPV, CPAP, BiPAP, Acapella, CPT, Vest therapy, ABG s, assortment of oxygen delivery devices, etc. 2. Equipment utilized- EPIC system computerized charting; Omnicell system for medications; pyxis for medical supplies system; Vision and V60 Bipap machines; Focus and Synchrony CPAP/BiPAP machines; High flow systems 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Strong clinical floor skills required, ICU experience recommended. Minimum of 2 years experience on floors or 1 year or more of ICU experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc); BLS required, ACLS required 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Large department so employee will always have a resource/assistance if needed; 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will be assigned to different floors based on need 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Varies depending on assignment 9. Dress Code: Wine color scrubs logo wear for tops/jackets must be worn 10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. First week of training involves hospital orientation and department orientation (typically 8 hour days ); employee will be set up with the same preceptor to complete orientation for three-12 hour shifts the 1st week; 2nd week will be assigned to a resource/same preceptor as needed; after 2-3 week orientation, the employee will transition to 8 hour evening shifts. Comments: No OT bill until after 48 hours/week worked if picking up extra shifts. Call Off Policy: Client can call off equivalent of 36 hours every 13 weeks Non-billable Orientation hours: 12 hours Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation. Name of Position Requirements - Minimum 2 years experience on floors or 1 year of ICU experience - Active AHA BLS held? (required) - Active AHA ACLS held? (required) - Experience with EPIC?
