Delivery Driver Specialist

Your role with us The McNaughton-McKay Warehouse Delivery Driver is pretty unique in the fact that you'll be involved in all aspects of the process. To give you a better idea of our role, here's a list of your main duties: Responsible for reviewing their route in the morning and loading their vehicle. Conduct pre-trip safety inspections of the vehicle. Assists customers with unloading their material at their location, capturing customer signature. Material ranges from small packages to pallets of material, bundles of conduit, or large spools of wire. Delivery sites range from loading docks at industrial facilities to new construction jobsites. Safely operate various well-maintained and modern delivery vehicles including; vans, box trucks, and flat bed with Moffett. Company provides boots, gloves, clothing, and other safety equipment on a seasonal basis. Accurately log daily stops and follow routes designated by logistics software. Maintain a clean truck and work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations. Your profile • High school diploma or GED required. • Familiarity with local driving area and previous delivery experience preferred. • Commercial Driver License with Class B endorsement or higher strongly preferred. • You are able to frequently lift/carry or move/position products weighing up to 40 lbs. (unassisted) when stocking, loading, and unloading product (sometimes exceeding 75 lbs.) • You can bend, stoop, and crouch repeatedly and from various heights (when stocking and delivering). • Training and certification are required to operate a forklift.
