Weston & Sampson is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in EV Charging Stations to help support growing projects along the East Coast. This position can be based out of any of our locations. What you'll do: Supervise and lead a project team to perform engineering studies and designs using recognized industry standards and regulatory-compliant approaches. Supervise and lead a project team to perform field evaluation and assessment of potential electric vehicle charging, battery energy storage and other energy projects. Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineering staff. Pursue new work opportunities through established client relationships, market sector awareness, and competitive pursuits, including participation in proposal development and interviews / presentations. Participate in professional organizations and technical committees. Develop and define project scope, schedule, and fee; determine work procedures, staffing, and sub-consultant assignments. Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams. Establish and develop external teaming relationships. Build and maintain strong business metrics for their teams. What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering- Electrical PE Required. Experience in designing and developing commercial electric vehicle charging station projects including utility interconnection and coordination. Experience with designing battery energy storage systems and/or solar photovoltaic projects is a plus. Highly effective with written and verbal communication, including public presentations. Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring. Possesses high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect and integrity.
