The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a CNA Certified Direct Care staff join our team in Belchertown, MA. We provide direct care services within a Medical Group Living Environment.Your role as a CNA Certified Direct Care staff: As a CNA Certified Direct Care staff, you will provide direct care services in the intensive clinical group living environment that serves five clients with complex mental health related needs.Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Teaching ADL skills as needed to the individual served.Crisis interventionMedication administrationTeaching independent living skills by implementing the community service plansREQUIRMENTS: High school diploma or higher Hold current CNA certification Written and verbal communication skills are critical, as is the ability to work with computers.All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check.Bilingual preferred but not required.Ability to obtain MAP certification in order to maintain employmentPay rate is $20.00/hr. and includes a phenomenal benefits like, Dental, Health and Life insurance.
