JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are hiring for a range of skill levels and compensation will be based on the candidate/'s level of experience as determined during the interview/hiring process. Starting wage range is /$32 - /$38per hour. Starting wage offer will be based on candidate/'s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Hours: Day shift: 6am-3:30pm M-F with rotating on call schedule Night shift: 6am-6pm 4 days on/4 days off 2pm-11pm - /$2/hr shift premium! -Work on/with basic electrical systems, electrical test equipment, bearings, motors, belts, welding, pumps, boilers, conveyers, chains, sprockets, pulleys, air compression systems and related industrial systems. -Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulty, make repairs, rebuild as needed, and makes adjustments in order to achieve equipment up-time targets consistently using critical thinking and troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision. -Complete preventive maintenance according to schedule and as suggested by predictive maintenance system. -Create, track, and execute planned and reactive work via maintenance work order system. -Use CMMS system -Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. -Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. -Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. -Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. -Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. -Design new equipment to aid in the repair or maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, or building structures. -Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. -Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures. -Align and balance new equipment after installation. -Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. -Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. -Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. -Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential or commercial buildings. -Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Two years/' experience in the maintenance or repair of industrial equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, conveying equipment, etc.) required. Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel General mechanical knowledge Experience in the maintenance functions of a wet-mill ethanol plant.
