Kdb+ combines streaming, in-memory, and historical data in a simple and unified platform.Responsibilities vary, but may include:Working alongside our global clients as part of our kdb+ consulting practiceOperating as Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and customizationContributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing, and deploying the codeInteracting with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform trainingSupport users with accessing and querying dataThe essentials:We look for individuals who are strategic, thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong analytical aptitude to help solve complex business challenges.5+ years working in a software engineering development role using KDB+QStrong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technologyDemonstrate a track record of developing successful software solutions in programming languages such as Java C++ PythonExperience with deployment tools such as Jenkins TeamCitySelf-starter who is proactive and driven, with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
