Appian Developer

Role Objectives:· Develop new applications and application enhancements in Appian· Provide maintenance support of the existing system· Code using best practices and ensure minimal maintenance is required.· Work with project managers, business analysts and development lead to help daily development and enhancement activities.· Effectively communicate with team members to resolve issues.· 4+ years of overall development experience with a focus on web application development.· Strong C# .NET, Python, or Java Development experience· Appian Development experience in enterprise firm.o Financial services experience is a plus.o BPM and Workflow Development experience preferred.· Knowledge of Appian development, UI design, defining custom data types, process design· Knowledge of web application architecturedesign fundamentals· Strong SDLC knowledge· Ability to test applications with limited help from QA team· Any prior experience with Appian Admin console, administration of application servers would be helpful· Familiarity with Appian Integrations, Appian Plug-Ins· SQL experience· Strong analytical and problem solving skills· Strong verbal and written communication skills· BS in Computer Science, MS in Computer Science is a plus
