Full Stack Engineer

Insight Global is hiring for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with our large healthcare client here in Indianapolis, IN. This position will require candidates to be eligible to receive a US government secret clearance and be available for hybrid on-site work in downtown Indianapolis; typically 1 day on-site per week. Day to day:Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirementsCollaborates with engineers and graphic designers, analyzes and classifies complex change requests, and reviews and evaluates possible enhancementsWorks with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional andor technical specificationsCodes and maintains complex components of information systemsMentors others on coding standards and performs code reviewsDevelops and performs system testing, fixes defects identified during testing, and re-executes unit tests to validate resultsProvides on-call support for system monitoring and identifying system deficienciesRequirements:5+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer Experience working with Angular, Node, Lambda, and PostgreSQLExperience leading small projects andor mentoring junior team members (mentoring when needed)Experience with application troubleshooting Plusses:Experience working with healthcare data or for CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)** huge plus to get ppl into the toolCompensation: $50hour to $60hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
