In this role, you will collaborate with our national ICT team to expand local services by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging our comprehensive, technology-focused competitive advantage.Key Responsibilities:As the lead BMS Consultant, you will build and manage a team, oversee the execution of instrumentation and controls support activities, and ensure client satisfaction. You will be responsible for guiding project team members in creating controls design drawings and integrated systems specifications for various sectors, including Aviation, Critical Facilities, Financial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical.This position may require travel to sites across the US and will offer opportunities to engage directly with internal teams and client personnel at cutting-edge facilities.Additional Responsibilities:Create drawings, specifications, and conduct system design calculationsSelect equipment for building systems and prepare reportsAssist clients with vendor selection and procurement of top-tier solutionsParticipate in project meetings and liaise with clients and contractorsCollaborate with internal teams, including PICs, PMs, and practice area leadersWork closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing project design teamsEnsure quality control and manage resources effectivelySupport business development and client relationship managementOversee financial management of assigned projectsMaintain and update BMS processes and standardsManage the performance of direct reportsCollaborate with leadership in hiring processesJob Requirements:We seek a Lead BMS Consultant who can oversee client initiatives, demonstrating an understanding of their broader business strategies and revenue objectives, while anticipating challenges. Success in this role requires technical expertise combined with self-motivation, strong relationship-building skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in BMSEPMSDCIMSCADA systems design, implementation, and operations is essential.Additional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred (exceptional candidates with extensive experience in facilities management of integrated BMSEPMSDCIMSCADA systems may be considered)7+ years of experience in the Controls and Instrumentation Industry as a Consultant, Contractor, or Facility ManagerComprehensive knowledge of HVACelectrical instrumentation design and building control operationsFamiliarity with building IT infrastructure and other low-voltage technologies (security systems, lighting control systems, fire alarms)Understanding of smart building technology convergence and integration of low-voltage subsystemsProficient in Building Analytical Software platforms for energy conservation and anomaly detectionStrong team player with the ability to work independently or collaborativelyExcellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication skills; recent industry publications (presentations, webinars) are a plusRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not requiredActive involvement with ASHRAE, CABA, and other organizations is a plusBenefits:As a BMS Consultant, you will join a globally recognized firm with a rich history.
