They have a unique and clear IPC targeting both the enterprise and midmarket spaces and are coming into the market with a significant advantage based on the strength of their technology vs the competition.Position Overview:As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping enterprise customers unlock the full potential of their data and will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their monitoringdata journeys. I am looking for a driven, sharp, and humble professional based within Boston with strong combination of technical expertise and customer-facing presales experience. In this senior-level role, you will deliver technical presentations to a wide range of audiences, from software engineers and DevOps professionals to C-suite executives.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with account executives to strategize, prepare, and manage complex technical sales cycles.Deliver engaging presentations and product demos that highlight the value proposition and solutions.Oversee the technical components of the sales process, including discovery, solution sizing, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).Develop custom solutions to address customer-specific needs, enhancing the core capabilities of our platform.Maintain a deep understanding of the observability market and advise customers on best practices and tailored solutions.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as pre-sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Proven ability to manage technical integrations and conduct POCs.Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, log management, and SIEM.A background in Engineering or DevOps is a plus.Experience in technical sales related to log analytics, monitoring, APM, RUM, or SIEM is highly desirable.Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.Hands-on experience with these technologies and the ability to integrate them into customer environments, providing tailored solutions to meet diverse operational needs.
