We are looking for a capable leader who can initiate electrical installation and ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures.Job Responsibilities:Safely complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU)Ensure that the work is performed in a professional and workmanlike manner to conform to existing national and local building codesWork cooperatively with team members to complete residential solar installations.Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issuesLead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the gridEnsure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codesWork with branch team and homeowners to fulfill any necessary system repairs to support solar equipment installationInterface with branch leadership to ensure compliance with electrician labor ratios and continuing education requirementsRequired Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experienceElectrical license requiredWorking knowledge of current NEC, local building and green book codesMust have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panelsAbility to effectively manage work to achieve required timelinesMust be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical tradeStrong interpersonalhuman relations skillsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret single line drawingsAbility to complete work as scheduledMust be comfortable working from ladders and at heightsAbility to work safely in a branchwarehousefield rooftop environmentAbility to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of workAbility to interact with co-workers and participate in meetingsMust maintain a clean and valid driver's licenseEqual Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
