We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation. Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning for individuals and businesses. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a thorough understanding of tax laws, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to optimize their tax positions. Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns. Maintain organized and detailed records of all tax-related documents and transactions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in tax preparation and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
