Senior Data Developer

POSITION OVERVIEWThe organization is seeking a Senior Data Developer to support the development and implementation of complex systems involving multiple inter-linked programs. This role focuses on data management, developing integration processes, addressing system compatibility issues, and supporting cloud-based data solutions. The position also involves acting as a team or project leader for major applications projects.The role requires expertise in cloud database platforms, relational database structures, and cloud engineering. The developer will ensure data quality, conduct capacity planning, and establish procedures for tracking data usage and improvements.DETAILED LIST OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop cloud-based data management systems.Translate business requirements into user-acceptable solutions.Document processes for stakeholders, including the business and technical teams.Provide query writing support and address user requests for data solutions.Attend meetings, participate in technical reviews, and communicate project status.Generate code for extracting data from data warehouses and provide reports as requested.QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of experience in cloud data warehousing, data analysis, and business information systems.High-level SQL andor SAS skills.Experience developing cloud-based data solutions.Familiarity with cloud database platforms such as Snowflake.Strong communication skills and experience with data privacy controls.Preferred Experience:AWS and Snowflake certifications.Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.Knowledge of federal reporting for Medicaid.
