Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Practice Manager - Stone Mountain.Functional: Clinic OperationsReports To: Practice Manager LeadDirector of Orthopedic and Surgical ServicesPosition Description:The Practice Manager is a critical management position which is responsible for the management and day to day operations of the client's medical practice. The Practice Manager is expected to lead in all aspects of the medical practice including personnel management, facility physical plant management and operational efficiency.Position Duties:The position requires the following primary duties to be successful:Creates and maintains an atmosphere of professionalismImplements and Monitors All Policies and ProceduresEnsures training and supervision of all Medical Assistants both front and back.Liaison to Medial Doctors, Physician Assistants, MRI Technologist and other medical providers to ensure the medical schedule is maximizedCorresponds with Medical Management Company's support departments as necessaryLiaison to Attorneys and Case Managers to properly manage patient careLiaison to outside Referrals sources to ensure proper proceduresMonitors and ensures all medical supplies and medications are on handProvides excellent customer service throughout medical clinicEnsures proper staffing levels are met each dayManges workflow within the Ortho Medical practiceMonitors proper documentation for rendered servicePosition Expectations:To perform the position successfully, an individual is expected to:Be the client's ambassador alwaysManage the medical practice to ensure we are meeting and exceeding company goalsManage staff hours for productivityManage patient compliance to ensure meeting company expectationsUtilize MS Office and Excel as effective management and communication toolsMaster all front office and back office dutiesMonitors and ensure safe Osha practices are being followedDemonstrate excellent communication skillsDevelop employees into future leadersBe the client's ambassador dailyBe organized and efficientBe passionate and professionalBe success drivenLead by exampleHave a positive attitudeLead by examplePosition Metrics:The execution of the position is quantifiably measured by the following:Regional and or Site Specific Patient Compliance (MRI, Ortho Medical)Regional and or Site Specific Total Patient Visits (MRI, Ortho Medical)Regional and or Site Specific Gross Revenue (MRI, Ortho Medical)Regional and or Site Specific Patient Experience*Metrics may be changedupdated at any time at the discretion of managementPosition Requirements:College degree or college experience with a focus in business management, OrExperience: 5 years of experience in medical office leadership and management including personal injury and third-party liability service lines, ANDMS Office and Excel experienceBe team oriented and able to work with various executives, manager, and team leadersBe able to make sound decision in a fast-paced environmentPosition Miscellaneous:Salaried: Exempt: extended work hours from time to time to meet deadlines & handle issuesSetting goals, meeting deadlines, managing issues, and attending events upon requestAbility to interact, engage and communicate effectively with management, staff, referral sources, physicians, and patientsPhysical Demands: frequent sitting; frequent manipulation of documents; frequent typing or use of keyboard; limited lifting floor to overhead of less than 10 pounds.
