The Potency Group in Cell Therapy Analytical Development focuses on the development of potency assays and functional characterization for cell therapy products. The Associate Scientist will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge potency assays that support the company's portfolio of preclinical and clinical-stage therapies. A foundational understanding of functional assay design and T cell biology is preferred. This role requires close collaboration with team members to ensure the creation of high-quality functional assays.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of targeted potency and biological characterization assays for both early- and late-stage programs.Conduct routine activities, such as executing experiments based on established protocols and reviewing and analyzing data, with minimal anize and communicate findings effectively, drawing appropriate conclusions and planning subsequent steps.Maintain detailed and timely records of protocols, study designs, and results in laboratory notebooks.Set up in vitro functional assays to assess T cell function.Utilize literature and organizational resources to troubleshoot and resolve basic scientific development issues.Qualifications & ExperienceB.S. in biological science, immunology, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an M.S. with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in T cell biology.Direct cell culture experience is essential.Technical experience in cell-based assay development is preferred.Familiarity with cGxP requirements is advantageous.Ability to work primarily within established procedures while identifying and recommending solutions to potential problems.Strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills for collaborating with managers and cross-functional teams.Excellent organizational and time management skills for thorough and timely documentation of experiments.JOB ID: 80602
