If this opportunity appeals to you please read on.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed RFIC design to develop ultra-low-noise amplifiers, highly linear and efficient RF power amplifiers, attenuators, switches, and variable gain amplifiers Push state-of-the-art designs while applying risk mitigation throughout the design phaseDesign and layout RF circuits with high degree of integrity while driving design completion to scheduleManage and share detailed technical results and proactively support cross-functional groups involved with the productUse high-frequency lab equipment to execute RFIC design validation and characterization while supporting product engineering through the NPI (new product introduction) processQualificationsBSEE, MSEE or PhD preferred5+ years of industry experience after PhD, or 10+ years of industry experience after MSEE or BSEEExpert in GaAs pHEMTHBT RF circuit design or SiGe BiCOMSSOI RF circuit design or both.Solid understanding of RF circuit design and the performance metrics such as S-parameters, NF, P1dB, IP3, IMD, stability and etc.Fluent in RFIC design in ADS or Cadence environmentsFamiliar with the basics of biasing circuits, hands-on experience in analog circuit design (bandgap, LDO, negative voltage generators and etc.) is a plusProficient in using 2.5-D electromagnetic solver (Momentum or EMX), experience in using 3-D electromagnetic solver (HFSS) is a plusStrong hands-on experience using RF test equipment and characterizing RF ICsMust be able to work both independently and together in a team environmentSolid organizational skills with attention to detailsGood communication, presentation skills and effective team workCurious and aspires to overcome design challenges - driven to succeed personalityAdditional InformationThe expected annual pay range for this position is $153,000 - $215,000. This position is also eligible for bonus pay.
