The selected individual will need to have strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively withing a team-driven culture and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Work closely with CFO Executive, VP, Finance, and private equity sponsor across finance, business development, and treasury responsibilitiesBuild and maintain corporate financial modelsWork with Executive Team to develop budgets and financial forecastsEvaluate acquisition andor divestiture opportunitiesPrepare presentation materials for Executive Team, Board and lender meetingsInteract with private equity sponsors, accommodating data requests and other needs as requiredCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary technical and business development teamsMaintain planning databases and ensures data qualityAssist with work between finance & accounting to integrate actuals with short and long-term forecasting and supports yearly budgeting processExtract and effectively communicate key insights from complex analysesSupport internal and external communications with a high level of integrity and precisionAssist with derivative execution, settlement, and tracking of positionsSupport reporting procedures related to credit facility covenant compliancePerform other duties as assignedCore Competencies: Responsiveness to TasksOwnership of ProjectsHitting Deadlines New Skill DevelopmentTackling New ChallengesWorking Well with Others Education and Experience (required):5+ years of experience with an E&P company or energy branch of commercial investment bank private equity firmBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or EngineeringPrior financial analysis and modeling experienceIntellectually curious, self-starter and able to manage multiple projects at a timePrevious experience working in a dynamic environment Education and Experience (preferred):Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or EngineeringOther Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screeningValid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle report, and good driving habitsAbility to legally work in the US without sponsorship Compensation: Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $83,500 - $132,400 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position. Work Environment:This position operates in an office and field environment. This entails working inside in an office space wherein employee may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered. Physical Demands:In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, andor crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position. Position Type and Working Hours:This is a full-time position. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. every other Friday. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.Travel:Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
