Our team is Seeking a proficient and seasoned Accounting Operations Manager to become part of our food industry team, who will be responsible for planning and coordinating financial activities, managing the overall financial control and accounting operations of our manufacturing plant including general and cost accounting, payables & receivables, payroll and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This position also plays a critical role in cultivating strong cross-functional relationships with operations, supply chain, and other functional teams. Key Responsibilities As our Accounting Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards in manufacturing operations processes, so your responsibilities will include: Oversee Accounting for all manufacturing process and Plant operations by implementing and monitoring the month, quarter and year-end close accounting schedules.Assure that transactions including but not limited to Bill of Materials, Work Orders, Manufacturing Cost Templates, Assembly Builds, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Item Fulfillments and Invoices are recorded accurately and in real time.Lead the development and implementation of financial processes for a new manufacturing plant, incorporating industry best practices to ensure efficient and scalable financial operations.Build and optimize financial reporting frameworks, including templates for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate financial insights for ventory & Cost Accounting Management by processing Cost accounting - responsible for the accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold.Oversee full cycle accounting for the manufacturing site, including but not limited to: Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany transactions.Reconciliation of inventory balances and develop and monitor budgets for inventory and excessobsolete items.Qualifications and Competencies for Success What will make you successful in this role:Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is highly desirable.Proven experience in financial management roles within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on accountingStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.Extensive experience working with ERP systems in CPGManufacturing environment (e.g., NetSuite) and proficiency in EDI, MS Excel and financial reporting tools.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in full cycle -depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.If you are ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to the success of KettlWorks, we want to hear from you!
