Role: Change Consultant Location: Warren, NJ - Onsite Role Duration: 6+ Months Job description:To promote and apply commercial best practice throughout the life of a client engagement to drive value from the account. You will be responsible for ensuring Capgemini's compliance with the contract, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters to the sales and delivery teams and applying Capgemini's commercial best practice in the day-to-day management and administration of the account partnering with a variety of stakeholders such as Account Management, Solution, Legal, and Finance.Full lifecycle Contract Management responsibilitiesEnsure the delivery team understands the contractual obligations and provides advice and guidance to the team on all matters relating to the contract.Ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled such that revenue and margin are maximized and that costs are reduced. Proactively suggests options to drive out costs and to increase revenue and margin.Reduce risk, increase best practice across the delivery teams.Manage and resolve conflict to avoid disputes escalating.Participate in andor lead senior level negotiations with both internal and external customers with the introduction of scope or other changes, new business lines and the renewals of existing customer contracts.Typical Tasks and Responsibilities:Communicate key contract obligations to delivery teams.Provide advice on contractual obligations.Provide coaching to the delivery teams to ensure compliance with Capgemini's contractual obligations.Ensure commercial management best practice is implemented within the account (e.g. risk registers are maintained).Participate in commercial discussions with the clients.Participate in service reviews.Parter in commercial support for the AccountService Management team.Assist in shaping commercial propositions for sell on business.Participate in opportunitybid reviews, on request.Develop and approve all changes to the contract.Provide coaching in preparation for negotiations.Provide commercial training for the delivery team as agreed with the Infra Commercial team.Advise on general commercial queriesCore Responsibilities:As a member of the account leadership team (or of several team where responsibility is for a portfolio), you will take a key role in the ongoing development of the account to support Capgemini Infrastructure Services business objectives.Maintain and continue to develop the day-to-day commercial process and procedures necessary to supporting the overall account strategies.Day-to-day responsibility for the resolution of all issues relating to the contracts including changes, clarifications and additions.Assist with the management of complex sales opportunities (Bids, RFPs, RFQs).Face off to the client commerciallegal lead and team members.Face off to the other Capgemini third party commercial leads.Face off to other third party suppliers as necessary to support the delivery of services.Identify and highlight commercial risks to the Account Management Team and assist with actions to addressresolve.Requirements:Technologies Used:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointPerson Specification:Previous experience of contract management in a large complex and matrixed environment.Detailed understanding of key legal, commercial principles and obligations found in outsourcing contracts (including specific variations that may apply to a particular marketgeography because of legislationregulation or common practice e.g. ARD, Sarbanes OxleySAS70, EU Data Protection, Financial Distress, etc.)Broad experience of IT service delivery andor sales in complex environments.Excellent client facing skills including ability to negotiate and to cope in difficult situations.Experience of client facing negotiations at senior levelsTrack record of dealing with complex CommercialLegal issues.Strong numeracy (understanding of finances and excel spreadsheets).Proactive problem solver and able to think laterally.Heavily client facing.
