You will have opportunities to partner with leaders throughout the organization and work collaboratively with other members of the finance team. You'll also be interacting with our marketing, ecommerce, and operational teams on a regular basis.ResponsibilitiesYou will play a critical role in analyzing operational performance, lead a team who provides strategic support and direction collaboratively with eCommerce, operators, marketing, IT and senior leadership. This position will play an instrumental role in delivering on the financial goals and strategy of the Company and will be an key member of the finance organization.· Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial budgets and forecasts that align with corporate objectives and drive business growth for both the e-commerce business and our restaurants.· Financial Analysis: Own the creation (from scratch as needed), development, and analysis of financial reports, performance metrics, trends, critical performance indicators, and variance analyses. Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as requested.· Strategic Insights and Recommendations: Provide senior management with actionable insights regarding risks and opportunities; Evaluate and measure the financial implications of strategic endeavors, investments, and business cases, and make strategic recommendations.· Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis processes.· Stakeholder Communication: Create executive write-ups to communicate financial performance, strategic insights, and recommendations to senior executives, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders.· Financial Modeling: Build, develop, and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and decision-making.· Accounting Partner: Work closely with the Controller during the Close process, including reviewing P&L results and identifying potential expense accruals.· Transform data into strategy driving storytelling: Take numbers and communicate the "˜why' behind why consumers of that data should react and respond.Education and Experience· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required, MBA or related advanced degree preferred.· 7+ years of progressive Corporate FP&A or Business Unit FP&A roles - with experience leading a team.· Strongly preferred experience in a multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail company, including an understanding of financial drivers and cost structures.· Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, a curiosity in A.I. is appreciated.Outstanding Candidates Will Have:· An entrepreneurial spirit balanced with an appreciation for corporate systems and willingness to "roll up your shirtsleeves".· The ability to serve as a thought-partner to senior finance leadership and a natural flexibility to innovative ideas, systems, processes, and tools.· Effective communication skills - both written and verbal - ability to tailor a message to various constituencies from store managers to senior leadership.· High degree of intellectual curiosity - when the data provides an answer, the inclination to ask, "˜what might be the next question?' is crucialSupervisoryThis position has supervisory responsibilities.
