We are looking for a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer with diverse technical expertise to support and maintain complex infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will bring a broad skill set and be adaptable across various technologies.Key Accountabilities: Provide technical leadership, research and recommendation of new applications and processes to improve the productivity and profitability of the organization.Drive policies and implementation of key security initiativesDesign and deploy functional networks according to industry best practices (LAN, SDWAN, WAN)Manage enterprise wireless infrastructureDesign and deploy functional security perimetersMaintain complete technical documentationSecurity Operations Focus - MITRE Framework, Forensics, Vulnerability, Risk, Penetration Testing, Reporting and moreMaintain a large global software defined network comprising of more than 70 locations with multiple datacentersWork with and adhere to Change Control Management policies and implementation standardsPatch management of IOS based Cisco devicesRespond to escalated support tickets and provide timely support to other IT groupsWork on IT projects and be able to see project from planning stages to completionWork with new hardware and software technologies and be able to understand and learn said technologies to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) as needed or delegated by managerKnowledge, Skills, Abilities: Industry related certification(s) required - Cisco CCNP or CCDP Professional level Certification or similarBachelor's degree in a STEM field or the equivalent experience and certificationsMinimum of 5 years of IT related experience; strong IT consulting background preferredFamiliarity with systems hardening and security practices and strong familiarity with security tools - SIEM, EDRProficiency with Forensics, Threat IntelligenceHunting Highly desiredExperience with Vulnerability and Risk managementExperience with systems hardening and attack surface reductionStrong experience with disaster recovery design planning and implementationStrong experience with high availability network design and implementationStrong experience with Azure networking principles and deploymentStrong experience with routing and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, etc.Expert knowledge with Cisco IOS Campus area networks-Catalyst Series and Cisco ASA or Palo Alto firewallsStrong experience with Cisco Datacenter networking Nexus and Cisco UCSStrong experience with Software Defined Networking - CloudGenix, Palo AltoStrong experience with wireless network design and deployment - Cisco Wireless and or HP ArubaExperience managing a network monitoring system - SNMP, SolarWinds, etc.Experience with telecommunication industry and managing supporting circuit installations and turnupsExperience with network and system security and adhering to SOX and PCI ComplianceCross functional experience with Systems Engineering highly desiredAbility to be flexible and take on new skills and responsibilities as this role evolves with the changing technologies and methods common within the fieldStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with VMware, Cisco UCS Fabric Experience, andor Windows server experience a plusExperience with Active Directory, SCCM, DHCP, DNS, Radius a plusExperience with Storage area Networks Cisco MDS a plusMultilingual a plus - Spanish, Italian, French or DutchThis role requires a problem-solver who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and manage multiple systems simultaneously.#10406
