Information Technology Manager

We are currently looking for a permanent full-time IT Manager - Global MES who will lead the designing, planning, and development of MES and IIoT solutions across the enterprise.Job Description:This position will lead a team of experienced developers and analysts to design, implement, and manage Shop Floor applications (MES & IIoT) across the company. You will interact with Plant Management, Business Unit Leadership, Continuous Improvement Teams, and Control Engineers to collaboratively design the future of our Shop Floor application environment. You will assist the development team to design a coherent application toolbox that is consistent, scalable, and reliable throughout 40+ manufacturing plants.This would include, but not limited to:Lead a global team of developers, application analysts, and the MES center of expertise to develop and deploy standard solutions (Shop Floor Applications) across the companyManage continuous refinement of our Shop Floor Applications and StandardsManage, monitor, and report on multiple concurrent projectsDevelop and lead a process of best practice and ensure alignment across the companyDevelopment of system tests, procedures, and documentationManage budget, contracts, and licenses for our Shop Floor environmentCollaborate with various teams for process improvements & problem resolutionsTravel as necessary (approx. 30%)Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor's Degree in related discipline5 years of MES, IoT andor Industry 4.0 experience5 years of Team Management experience with leading a development team3 years of application architecture and design experience3 years of Experience with Ignition incl. 2 - 3 years of experience with the Perspective module5 years of development experience incl. Python, ReactJS in conjunction with MS SQL3 years of AI ML technology experience like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Shakudo3 years of Web Technology Experience (e.g. NGINX, FastAPI, HTML, CSS, ...)Nice to Have Experience In:Grafana experienceEdge environment experienceMQTT or Kafka experienceSoftware version control (Git)Cloud experience (AWS preferred)Experience with agile project management (e.g., Scrum)Experience with LinuxMartinrea International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
