Under the guidance of our experienced Design Manager, you'll dive into the world of design, honing your ability to prepare, review, and refine drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs. You'll monitor and contribute to the civil aspects of our projects, collaborating with a diverse group of Engineers and Specialists across various rail disciplines, including Engineering, Electrification Systems, and Project Controls. Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Contribute to the civil design of transit facilities, including stations, retaining walls, track, utilities, maintenance facilities etc. Assist in producing engineering drawings and details from conception to final design, according to established standards and procedures. Collaborate with other Designers and Project Managers, to support in providing progress reports for clients. Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards. Assist in preparing effective proposals seeking targeted project opportunities. Where appropriate, assume the role of design lead for aspects of projects (under the guidance to the Design Manager/ Project Manager). Other assignments as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering. 3-6 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on transit and transportation projects. PE License is preferred OR registered as an EIT, with the ability to obtain PE within 12 months. Demonstrable experience in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. Strong computer skills including experience in AutoCAD, MS Office and other technical software packages. Periodic travel may be required. Additional Information TYLin is committed to pay equity.As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of87,800 - $131,600 annually for this position and local market.
