Responsible for the clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment and related care management strategies of children, adolescents and their families. Utilize individual, group and family modalities within expected practice standards and as informed by the professional literature at the outpatient site. Accurately assess and document client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, diagnosis and prescribe initial interventions in a timely manner. Meet with client/family to assist in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives. Employ strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations. Complete clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards. Coordinate client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy plus 1 year of experience as a Therapist, including 1 year of experience providing and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescent and families and 1 year of experience using cognitive behavioral therapy.
