Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an Analyst in the Washington DC area. This is an aviation consulting firm with over 20 years experience in developing relationships in consulting with the FAA, DoD and airport authorities - lots of growth opportunity! * This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience - Military Pilot or Air Traffic Controller experience with technical aptitude is highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates. * Compensation: 1st year: $105,000 base + 10% bonus (while in training) 2nd year: $125,000-140,000 OTE 3rd year: >$150,000 What You Will Do: Responsible for meeting mutually agreed upon deadlines as well as ensuring accurate analyses and professional deliverables. This will include graphics created in a Geographic Information System (GIS) as well as full reports describing the airspace height constraints overlying a particular project. As a part of training, will learn GIS basics as well as airspace design utilizing FAA Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS). Work closely with analytical team to ensure on-time delivery, accuracy and solutions for complex projects requiring mitigation to resolve airspace impacts Analyze airspace height constraints protecting for visual flight rules (VFR) and instrument flight rules (IFR) operations Create graphics depicting results and implications for the project Draft technical reports describing the results of an airspace analysis Brief clients on the results of an airspace analysis Ability to research (position requires reviewing historical documents and federal, state and local regulations) Education and Work Experience REQUIRED: at least 4 years US Military experience (Officer/Enlisted) Must have analytical aptitude (Python, etc), technical project management skills Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time. Likes doing research, coming up with a solution, and presenting findings.
