A Client of Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their office in Fort Lee, NJ Responsibilities: Preparation and issuance of shipping instructions to both BassTech suppliers and warehouse facilities. Contracting with transportation providers as necessary. Reviewing documentation for conformity and accuracy. Expediting and tracking shipments to their point of delivery. Entering transaction information and logistics documentation into the BassTech ERP system. Regular follow up with warehouses, carriers, and customers. Assisting with weekly inventory reconciliations. Coordinating with sales, purchasing, accounting, suppliers, and customers as necessary. Essential Functions: Assist Logistics Manager in the day-to-day functions of controlling and expediting material and services, ensuring successful execution of contracts from point of origin to point of destination. Provide effective and reliable customer service to maintain customer satisfaction. Prepare, coordinate, and authorize shipping and delivery instructions in accordance to contract terms and conditions. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Inventory Control (such as working in or with a warehouse) 3-5 years of transportation, logistics, and/or customer service experience required. Good working knowledge of MS Office and/or Apple Pages and Numbers.
